They are also prone to headaches, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and respiratory after-effects such as irritation of the mucous membranes of the throat and nose, which become dry, tingling in the throat, and reddening of the eyes. People who wear contact lenses may end up no longer being able to tolerate them due to dry eyes.
The ideal humidity level in a home
Generally speaking, the humidity level in a house should be between 40% and 70%, although in France, experts recommend between 45% and 65%. Beyond these limits, the level is either too high, or not high enough, and begins to cause problems.
What can be done about low humidity?
To combat excessively dry air, it may suffice to air the house regularly, but this often proves insufficient. In this case, you need to turn to devices that humidify the ambient air, such as indoor misting fans.

The indoor misting fan is a fan equipped with a system that humidifies the ambient air by misting, i.e. by emitting fine droplets of water. These droplets are sent into the room by the fan, ensuring even distribution. Over time, the humidity level in the room rises, resulting in greater comfort.
