The misting system has been in vogue for some years now. They’re now available at very good prices, and they’re also very effective. They’re a summer favorite, but why the misting system craze?

Misting is a system for projecting very fine drops of water into the air.
How does the misting system work?
The outdoor misting system is connected to a garden hose, or to a water tank for indoor misting systems. The water is then pressurized and projected into the air by nozzles.
What’s the point of having a misting system?
A misting system has 2 main functions: to refresh the ambient air or to water the garden.
Thanks to the propulsion of micro-droplets of water, the air appears fresher. A misting system can reduce air temperature by around 6 to 10°C. What’s more, the misting system’s high pressure means it won’t wet surfaces.
The misting system can also be used to water vegetable gardens and plants. The mist ensures that plants don’t get too much water by moistening the soil and the plant, so that during the hot summer months, plants are protected from drought.
Outdoor misting systems
Terrace misting system
This is the most widely used misting system. The principle is simple: it connects to the garden hose and is installed on the roof of the house, or on a pergola or awning.
Garden misting system
The garden misting system is the most mobile model. In hose or boom form, it also connects to the garden hose and can be moved to any desired location.
Misting fan system
The misting fan system is a fairly recent model and offers the best cooling. It combines ventilation and misting systems. Depending on the model, the fan is either connected to the water network, or has a reservoir with a 5-10 h autonomy.
Indoor misting system
For the moment, there’s only one type of misting system for indoors: the misting fan. It’s the same principle as the outdoor fan, but adapted to refresh the air inside your home. The fan has a water reservoir that provides autonomy from 7 to 14 hours, depending on the model.
The misting system craze is mainly due to its unique and effective cooling capabilities.
