How misting systems work

2016 was a hot year, with several heatwaves, and it’s probably not the last time we’ll have such a hot summer. Have you ever sat on the terrace of a café or restaurant where it was cool? A soft, refreshing mist gave you just the comfort you needed to enjoy yourself without the heat.

This was a misting system. It’s a very simple installation, consisting of installing a hose along a gutter or the horizontal upright of the terrace and connecting it to a water supply. The hose carries the water and distributes it in the form of a fine mist through specially designed nozzles.

These misting systems have been developed in several models, whether for the interior of your home, your terrace or even your garden. It’s no longer just a question of installation for professionals, but also for private individuals.

This misting system not only brings the temperature down by several degrees, but also maintains a satisfactory level of humidity in the air, so you don’t become dehydrated.

Six models to keep you cool

Three misting systems are available to cover up to 10m2 of terraces, depending on the model. Three other misting systems allow you to cool off in your garden… And to help you manage your misting system efficiently, a timer will be installed to ensure that the misting system is activated when you want it to be. You’ll also be able to manage the quantity of water dispensed, for real savings.
