What is a water fan?

Water fans to forget the heatwave

It’s a hot summer, with heatwaves forecast, with temperatures approaching 35° in the shade. It’s true that we’ve been looking forward to sunshine and warmth for many months, but this may be a little too much. Installing air conditioning? Yes, but it’s expensive and it means staying indoors, which is a real shame on these sunny days. So how about a water fan? You’ll be able to keep cool while enjoying your garden or terrace…

OFRESH offers several types of water fans, also known as misting system fans. First of all, there are 2 categories of water fans: those for indoors and those for outdoors.

Water fans for outdoor use

There are three categories: 150, 180 cm or wall-mounted fan. The principle is simple: it’s a fan that fan that diffuses a refreshing mist. You can choose the height, the strength of diffusion… These fans can cool an area of 50 to 80 m2 down to -10°.

Water fans for indoors

There are two types, 125 and 135 cm. The principle is the same as for outdoor use: a fan with a water tank that diffuses a fine mist and can cool a room and lower the temperature by 6°.

During heatwaves, it’s not only difficult to keep your home cool, it’s also difficult to maintain sufficient humidity levels. Water-cooled fans achieve both objectives, keeping the house cool and maintaining the required humidity level.
